aphesis: a painting.

this is a painting i worked on in a class last year at some point. acrylic on stretched canvas. i was learning a lot about forgiveness and what exactly it means to forgive someone for the things they've done to you, but also to forgive yourself. aphesis is the greek word for forgiveness, or really the freedom that comes from the forgiveness of god.
